August 7,

We made a new definition out of "early to bed early to rise". I guess the excitement caught up with us yesterday. We decided to stop in Minot, ND last night. We stayed at Roughrider Campground about 1 1/2 hour from the Canadian border. We were asleep by 6:30pm and up at 5:30am. Slept great. On the road before 7 heading heading Northwest.

Thanks to all the great guesses about the photo. To summarize: the index finger of the abominable snow man (from Eil & Kristi: you can see they live next to the Alps), Stealth Bomber covered in a sheet (must be a big sheet, close Scotty); airplane wing (that's what I thought at first); trees on their way to Warren Co (should be trees leaving Warren Co), the blade for a wind power thingy (I would expect more of a technical description from my buddy).

That is CORRECT Padaddy...It is one of three blades used for a windmill.

Factoid: North Dakota ranks #1 in wind resources in the US. There is enough wind power here, given the proper electric power grid to provide power for the entire US. (so they say)

Padaddy, please let us all know where you are going on your trip & have fun.
